Connect IT Glue to Neo for automatic documentation sync

Neo Agent integrates with IT Glue to leverage your existing documentation for faster ticket resolution and richer context. Connect once with your API key, and Neo automatically keeps your documentation synced and searchable.

1. Generate IT Glue API credentials

   1. In IT Glue, go to Account → Settings → API Keys.
   2. Click Generate API Key.
   3. Copy the API key—you’ll need it for Neo configuration.

   The API key allows Neo to read your organizations and documents. It does not grant write permissions.

2. Connect IT Glue API in Neo Dashboard

   1. Go to the Integrations page in your Neo Dashboard.
   2. Open the Documentation tab.
   3. Click Add Integration and select ITGlue API.

   

   4. Enter your IT Glue API key.

   
3. Understand automatic sync behavior

   Once configured, Neo automatically:

   • Fetches all organizations from your IT Glue account
   • Retrieves documents for each organization via the Documents API
   • Parses and converts document content to searchable format
   • Indexes everything in Neo’s vector database for instant search

   The sync runs daily. Neo fetches the latest documents and updates the index automatically.

   You’re all set. Neo will automatically keep your documentation in sync.

What gets synced

Neo syncs the following from IT Glue:

Neo only ingests and processes documents. Passwords are never imported, accessed, or stored by Neo.

Flexible Assets

Neo automatically syncs all flexible assets from your IT Glue account. Flexible assets are custom asset types that allow you to document any type of information with custom fields (traits).

Synced flexible assets are organized by asset type (e.g., “Flexible Assets/Active Directory”, “Flexible Assets/Network Documentation”) and are fully searchable alongside your documents.
